Former Microsoft Exec to lead Crayon’s Cloud and distribution expansion
28th September — Crayon, the global leader in software asset management (SAM), cloud and volume licensing, today announced that Faycal Bouchlaghem has joined its leadership team as Executive Vice-President Global Cloud and Distribution business.
Bouchlaghem joins from Microsoft where he held the position of General Manager for its Operator channels, running the Microsoft Cloud and Devices business with key Telcos and HSPs across the Asia Pacific region. Previous to this he held various country management roles within its business.
With over 24 years’ experience in the IT industry and a track record for delivering outstanding results across the sales and marketing sphere, Bouchlaghem has been recruited to lead Crayon’s international cloud and distribution services business, driving strategy and execution as the SAM and Licensing specialist continues its rapid worldwide expansion.
On top of his global role, Bouchlaghem will also take responsibility for Crayon in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), while also assisting the leadership team in accelerating Crayon’s growth in the Asian marketplace.

Bouchlaghem studied Applied Mathematics in Paris, following executive General Management programs from INSEAD in Singapore and Harvard Business School.
